The International Chess Festival AEROFLOT OPEN 2026 will be held from February 27th (arrival date) to March 6 th (departure date), in Moscow at The Carlton hotel, (Moscow, Tverskaya Street,3, Okhotny Ryad metro station).
The competition is open to players with a FIDE (standard) rating of 2300 or higher as of January 1, 2026, provided that the registration fee is paid no later than 12:00 a.m. on February 21.
The competition will be played to the Swiss system in 9 (nine) rounds with the following time control: 60 minutes till the end of the game with a 30-second increment for each participant per each move made, beginning with move one.
The guaranteed tournament fund is 18,150,000 (eighteen million one hundred fifty thousand) rubles.
